Thomas Ross Fitzsimons is a British-Australian composer and multi-instrumentalist based in London, and a graduate of the Masters program for Composing for Film & TV from the National Film & Television School. Originally studying classical piano, double bass and guitar from a young age, he spent a year in France studying upright bass with Peter Giron and jazz drums with Jeff Boudreaux, before gaining a First Class Honours in Philosophy & Economics from the London School of Economics, whilst working as a freelance sound engineer and session guitarist/drummer. He has scored work commissioned by the BBC, BFI, Vice and Audible, and has twice scored films selected for the National Geographic Short Film Showcase. He is also the guitarist, producer and co-songwriter for the band Family Friends
